This book is about the relationship between an abandoned house and the old lady who once lived in it. This work explores the idea of how a house is both a demarcation of real, physical space and an important part of memory of all the living beings who may have experienced it. Through our lived experiences, houses stores in our memories, though different for each individual, shape our knowing of ‘home’.

As the reader unfolds it, the book is meant to transform into the structure of a house. This form adds another layer to the narrative by allowing the reader to experience this story through the many rooms of the house. It explores the notion that the house stays a constant while the lady’s life experiences a transition towards deathlessness. The illustrated panels, accompanied by minimal text lets us experience the story through the psychological states of the characters, and allows the reader to form their own perceptions of the story.
